Dr. Donald Berglund is the founder of Berglund Chiropractic & Wellness – a family practice located in Stamford, CT since 1991. He graduated from the State University of New York at Stony Brook with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, and continued his studies graduating with his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the prestigious Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA. He is an active member of the Connecticut Chiropractic Council as well as the International Chiropractors Association, and regularly attends continuing education seminars to stay abreast of the latest techniques and procedures in his profession. In addition to having received multiple certificates of advanced study and proficiency, Dr. Berglund has also completed post-graduate courses in:

Dr. Berglund has helped thousands of patients recover from pain and injuries. He is a lecturer and sought after speaker for many community events and corporate functions. His passion is to help people stay healthy through proper diagnosis, education, and traditional chiropractic care.

Dr. Berglund was first introduced to Chiropractic when his younger brother (now a chiropractor in Pennsylvania) began treating for advanced scoliosis (curvature of the spine) in the early 1980’s. His brother was under medical care for years, yet his condition worsened with time. Then, after undergoing a series of chiropractic spinal adjustments, his brother’s condition greatly improved in the months to follow – which caught Dr. Berglund’s attention. At that time Dr. Berglund (a pre-med student), who had been undergoing medical treatment for severe weekly headaches since the age of ten, began chiropractic care. Within a few weeks his headaches stopped and never returned. He immediately withdrew his applications to medical school and applied to Chiropractic College!
